Language Trainers is a successful language training company working with freelance teachers of 70 different languages in hundreds of towns and cities across the world. Students are either in-company or self-funded who need to learn a language at their office or their home for work, family or travel reasons. Some details about the course:

One of our clients in Seattle would like to have three-to-one Conversational Catalan classes.
These students wish to have classes at their home in Seattle, 98103. They would like to have a 20-hour course. Classes of two hours should be held twice per week, on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, after 3 pm or weekends in the afternoon, and they wish to start asap.

Information about the students:

Due to the age difference, we will arrange 2 separate courses. As the minimum duration of the sessions is 2 hours, the course will be organized in consecutive 1-hour classes: 1 hour for the adults, followed up by 1 hour for their 7-year-old child.
Estimated Current Language Level: Beginner
Child language background: Our child is enrolled in a Spanish immersion school (half-day Spanish, half-day English) and is comfortable learning a new language.
Native language: English
Motivation: Moving to a part of Spain where they speak Catalan
Student's age group: I: mixed. Two adults (40s), one child (7 years old)
Comments about how the adults have been learning the language: No experience
Aspect of the language mostly interested in: Speaking

Ideal teacher should:

Be a native Catalan speaker OR hold a teaching degree
Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
Have a valid working visa
Live up to 20 miles from the client's location.

Location of the classes and schedule could be flexible based on your and the client’s availability. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. This is a freelance part-time position, and we are not able to sponsor your visa.
