Language Trainers is a successful language training company working with freelance teachers of 70 different languages in hundreds of towns and cities across the world. Students are either in-company or self-funded who need to learn a language at their office or their home for work, family or travel reasons. We might have a job for you as a Cantonese teacher.

Some details about the course:

One of our clients in Chicago would like to have one-to-one GENERAL Cantonese classes.
This student wishes to have classes at the trainer's office/home or public location in Chicago, 60625.
She would like to have a 40-hour course.
Classes of two hours should be held once a week. Wednesdays and Fridays after 4:30 pm or Saturdays all day and Sundays from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm and she wishes to start asap.
Current language level: Beginner.
Motivation: My husband’s is native language is Cantonese. He’s originally from Hong Kong, and his family still live lives there. Most of his family doesn’t speak any English, so I’d like to learn Cantonese to be able to communicate with them when we visit them this summer.

Ideal teacher should:

Be a native Cantonese speaker OR hold a teaching degree
Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
Have a valid working visa
Live up to 20 miles from the client´s location.

Location of the classes and schedule could be flexible based on your and the client’s availability. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. This is a freelance part-time position, and we are not able to sponsor your visa.
