We might have a job for you as a Thai teacher.

One of our clients in Milwaukee would like to have one-to-one Conversational Thai classes.
This student wishes to have classes at his or at your office/home in Milwaukee, WI
He would like to have a 20-hour course.
Classes of two hours should be held twice per week, on Mondays and Tuesday mornings to early afternoons and he wishes to start on 13 January.

Information about this student:

*Current language level: Elementary - he previously lived in Thailand as a Peace Corps volunteer 30 years ago.

*Motivation: he would like to brush up on his Thai with review of vocabulary, pronunciation and learn to read Thai since he feels that would help with pronunciation. He will be visiting Thailand with his daughter in March 2025 so that created the motivation to get started. He has some learning materials.

He had prior conversational Thai background from living in Thailand 30 years ago and is looking to refresh his speaking, learn to read and improve pronunciation.

*Special requirements: Focus on listening, speaking, and reading.

Student's age group: E: 45-55

Be a native Thai speaker of the language OR hold a teaching degree
Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
Have a valid working visa
Live up to 20 miles from the client´s location.

Location of the classes and schedule could be flexible based on your and the client’s availability. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. This is a freelance part-time position and we are not able to sponsor your visa.
