📍 Position Details

We are currently looking for a Polish Teacher for one of our clients in Islip, United States.

• Format: in-person
• Total Hours: 52
• Session length: two-hour
• Location: A public location within Islip is acceptable, though on the northern end if possible. I'll be driving in from Hauppauge so I'd appreciate any preferred venue closer to that location. I'm not sure how noisy a cafe might be (or if they're open so late) -- hopefully there is a location that can accommodate the tutoring session.
• Student Level: Lower Intermediate
• Student Age Group: C: 25-34
• Schedule: once per week, (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evening are most convenient. on Evenings after work please. I work in Hauppauge until 18:00, so assuming half an hour to arrive in Islip the sessions might be 18:30-20:30 or 19:00-21:00.)
• Start Date:ASAP
• Motivation: I am a third-generation speaker with active family ties in Poland. I attended a formal Saturday Polish school but did poorly and retain poor grammar as a result. I would like to improve my written and spoken Polish for myself and to make communication with family easier.

🎯 Ideal Candidate

• Be a native Polish speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
• Have a valid work permit/visa
• Live within 20 miles of the specified location

💼 Conditions

• Schedule and location may be flexible based on availability
• Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
• Freelance, part-time position
• We are not able to sponsor visas
