Students are either in-company or self-funded who need to learn a language at their office or their home for work, family or travel reasons. We might have a job for you as a Portuguese teacher.

One of our clients in Halifax would like to have one-to-one GENERAL Portuguese tuition.
This student wishes to have classes at her home in Halifax.
She would like to have a 20-hour course.
Classes of two hours should be held twice per week, on Mondays, Thursdays, and Wednesdays during the morning, also Wednesdays and Thursdays afternoon. She wishes to start ASAP.

Information about this student:

Her Language Level: Duolingo Beginner. I do not trust what I learn.
Aspect of the language mostly interested in: 1. Speaking 2. Listening 3. Reading 4. Writing - speaking and listening the priority.
Motivation: Well, originally I had met someone from Brazil and we had met up a few times. Language was a bit of a barrier so I decided to learn some Portuguese as I didn’t think it was fair to expect everything in English. That didn’t work out; however, I started to enjoy the aspect of learning the language, preparing Brazilian recipes, and the music so now just doing for me. That being said, my roommates are from Peru, my sister-in-law is Colombian and my son in law is Cuban … I should be learning Spanish hahaha but I have open invitations to go and stay at their family homes so I want to keep learning Portuguese so that I can also go to Brazil when I am there

Ideal teacher should:

Be a native hebrew speaker of the language OR hold a teaching degree
Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
Have a valid working visa
Live up to 20 miles from the client´s location.

Location of the classes and schedule could be flexible based on your and the client’s availability. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. This is a freelance part-time position and we are not able to sponsor your visa.
