📍 Position Details

We are currently looking for an English teacher for two of our clients in Palo Alto.

Please note that these students will be in the US for a short period, so the lessons must take place within the dates specified in the job post.

  • Schedule: Two-hour lessons should take place on August 6, 7, 11, 12, and 13, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (morning sessions).
  • Start Date: 6th August
  • Motivation: Our goal is practical American English, not academic English. We want to improve small talk, business dinners, networking conversations, idioms, casual American expressions, listening comprehension, pronunciation, and overall confidence when meeting new people. I’m an entrepreneur and will be meeting founders, investors, and people in the tech ecosystem, so I’d like the sessions to include role plays around coffee chats, business dinners, investor conversations, introductions, follow-ups, and personal story

🎯 Ideal Candidate

  • Be a native English speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
  • Have experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter
  • Have a valid work permit/visa
  • Live within 20 miles of the specified location

  • Schedule and location may be flexible based on availability
  • The hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
  • Freelance, part-time position
  • We are not able to sponsor visas
