Language Trainers is a successful language training company working with freelance teachers of 70 different languages in hundreds of towns and cities across the world. Students are either in-company or self-funded and need to learn a language for work, family, or travel. Founded in 2004, our motto is Any Language, Anytime, Anywhere!

We might have a job for you as a Japanese teacher. One of our clients in Fernandina Beach would like to have one-to-one GENERAL Japanese classes for her son.


Course details:

  • Location: Flexible. Classes can take place at a library or a quiet coffee shop, halfway between locations or in Jacksonville, depending on availability.

  • Course length: 30 hours.

  • Schedule: 1-hour classes, once per week, on Thursday or Sunday, anytime between 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm.

  • Start date: ASAP (preference for a teacher who can start in the coming days).

  • Student’s age: 14.

  • Current level: Beginner


Ideal teacher profile:
  • Native speaker of Japanese
  • Fluent in English and experienced teaching Japanese to beginners
  • Teaching degree and/or experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter
  • Valid working visa
  • Lives within 20 miles of the client’s location

Location of the classes and schedule could be flexible based on your and the client’s availability. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. This is a freelance part-time position, and we are not able to sponsor your visa.
