We are seeking a committed and experienced freelance Yoruba language teacher for a private, in-person group course in Püttlingen (66346), Germany. The students are German-speaking family members with a shared interest in learning Yoruba for communication and cultural connection.

Position Overview:

Position: Freelance Yoruba Language Teacher (Face-to-Face)

Location: Private residence in 66346 Püttlingen, Germany

Students: 3 adult learners (with an option to include a 4th student)

Group Size: 3–4 participants

Language Level: Beginner

Native Language of Students: German

Learning Style: Primarily visual learners

Learning Goal: Emphasis on listening comprehension and spoken communication in Yoruba

Course Structure & Compensation:

Package: 30 total hours, divided into 15 sessions of 90 minutes each

Schedule: Fridays, 17:00–18:30 (once per week)

Start Date: November 7, 2025

Ideal teacher should:

  • Be a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker of the language OR hold a teaching degree
  • Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
  • Have a valid working visa
  • Live up to 20 miles from the client´s location.

Location of the classes and schedule could be flexible based on your and the client’s availability. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. This is a freelance part-time position and we are not able to sponsor your visa.
